Introductions

My name is David Haines.

I am a philosopher and Christian theologian working within that tradition of early Reformed theology which is inspired by Aristotelian-Thomistic thought, and is sometimes called Reformed Thomism. My other academic interests include the works of C. S. Lewis, the history of philosophy (especially classical and medieval, but I really enjoy studying the history of ideas in general), Natural Law, Natural Theology, and so on.

The purpose of this blog, as the title may indicate, is to publish random thoughts on subjects I am studying at any given moment. This may include book reviews (though a lot of smaller reviews are posted to my personal Goodreads account), or the rough drafts of academic papers (though most of those will be found on my Academia profile). I would ask that any and all engagement with my thoughts remain friendly and courteous.
